Bong is a sealed chamber half-filled
with water used for smoking. A bong has a pipe with a bowl on the end
that goes into the chamber under water level. It has another pipe with a
mouthpiece on the other end enters the chamber and stays above water
level. The bowl is used to place tobacco, which on being lightened is
inhaled on the mouthpiece. As the smoke enters the chamber through the
water the smoke cools down and is filtered by the water.
Though a bong seems similar to a water pipe but its feeling very
different. With a water pipe one slowly draws the smoke through a hose
and water whereas witha bong the smoke passes the water very quickly and
enters into your lungs.
